WHAT IS YOUR COMMISSION?
Commission is a relative question when selling your home. Most commissions are similar so the question you should be asking is "how close to asking price do you get?" Remember the old saying, you get what you pay for. Going with a discounted commission often means you get discounted service and marketing which can easily cost you more in the home sales price than the commission you paid would have.
HOW WILL YOU FIND POTENTIAL BUYERS FOR MY PROPERTY?
I have a 7-Step Marketing Plan that would best be explained in person. Of course I could list them here but if marketing is not your specialty then it would be nothing more than words on a screen. I charge nothing for you to come into my office or my visit to your home so that I can explain what I do when marketing and why. Then you are free to ask as many questions as you would like. I have a video under my Sell section above to help.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR A MARKET VALUATION?
I never charge for a market valuation. There are two ways that I can do the analysis for you, one general and the other more detailed. The general version I can just send over a broad number range not knowing all the specifics about your house, just what I can find online. The more accurate and narrowed down way is to have me come out and visit the house. I can see condition, upgrades, etc... and this will allow me to really narrow down that value.
DO I NEED TO BE PRE-APPROVED BEFORE VIEWING HOMES WITH A REALTOR?
The best practice is to get pre-approved before viewing houses. Once you have found a house you would like to call home, the seller will want to see that you qualify for their house before accepting your offer. Waiting on this step could cause you to lose out on the home you want. If you don't have a preferred loan officer or mortgage officer, contact your Realtor® to see if they have someone they work with often.
